ARATUR celebrates its 20th edition with new national and international additions
2026-04-21
The Aragonese Tourism Fair (ARATUR) will return to the Zaragoza Conference Center from May 15th to 17th, 2026, to celebrate its 20th edition. For three days, ARATUR will once again showcase a wide range of destinations, both national and international, as well as various offerings related to tourism, leisure, and gastronomy.
As a major highlight of this edition, Central Portugal will participate for the first time, a destination that perfectly combines coast, inland areas, and mountains. Enclaves such as the Aveiro Lagoon and the Serra da Estrela, the highest point in mainland Portugal, coexist with a dense network of villages, a rich historical heritage, and an increasingly renowned gastronomy. Its presence at ARATUR aims to position Central Portugal as a perfect destination for both weekend getaways and longer trips.
Three proposals will be presented from France. On one hand, there's the Artouste Train, considered the highest mountain tourist train in Europe, where travelers embark on a 50-minute rail journey to Lake Artouste, at an altitude of over 2,000 meters, with panoramic views of the French Pyrenees. On the other hand, there's the Asson area, located between Pau and Lourdes.
Completing the offerings is the Luz Ardiden ski and mountain resort, nestled among the most emblematic peaks of the High Pyrenees, stretching between 1,700 and 2,500 meters in altitude across two very different sectors: the intimate and family-friendly Aulian sector, and the wild and untamed Bederet, designed for those seeking to escape the hustle and bustle of the cities.
Aragonese tourism will take center stage at ARATUR 2026. The trade fair will once again be the leading promotional platform for the region's resources and destinations, with the participation of entities such as Turismo de Aragón, Zaragoza Turismo, Territorio Mudéjar, Fuendetodos, the Bajo Aragón-Caspe region, the Quinto Mummies, Ribagorza, the Mora de Rubielos Town Hall, the Villanueva Town Hall, and the Gúdar-Javalambre mountain destination, among others.
Extensive National Representation
ARATUR 2026 will feature a strong presence of national destinations such as Navarre, Ceuta (making its debut), Soria, Menorca, the Provincial Council of Valencia, the Provincial Council of Castellón, Salou, Calafell, the Baix Gaia Coast, Tarragona campsites, Costa Daurada hotels, among others. This diverse offering spans from the Mediterranean islands to the interior of the Iberian Peninsula, encompassing sun, beach, nature, and mountain destinations.
Beyond the exhibition, ARATUR 2026 will offer a comprehensive program of activities on the main stage, including destination presentations, historical reenactments, and cooking demonstrations, among other offerings.
Organized by Feria de Zaragoza, the event will be held, as in previous editions, at the Palacio de Congresos (Conference Center), a strategic venue in the Aragonese capital that stands out for its easy access and proximity to the Zaragoza-Delicias high-speed train station, facilitating attendance for visitors from Aragon and neighboring regions.
In this 20th edition, the fair also serves as a promotional platform for destinations, companies, and institutions linked to the tourism sector, who will find in ARATUR a showcase to present their offerings and new products to the attending public.
Professionals and institutions interested in participating in the next edition of the event can find information and register through the ARATUR 2026 website: https://www.feriazaragoza.es/evento/aratur-2026.
