GENERAL INFORMATION
Art. 1. Definitions
In these General Rules of Participation, the term "Event" refers to the trade fair. The term "Exhibitor" includes any natural or legal person who has space at the Event. The term "Institution" represents the Zaragoza Trade Fair Institution, organiser of the Event. The term "Management" refers to the relevant department of Feria de Zaragoza or the event organising committee. The term "Exhibition Centre" refers to the venue where the Event takes place.
Art. 2. Acceptance of the Rules of Participation
All exhibitors who apply to participate in any of the events held at the Zaragoza Exhibition Centre accept these General Rules, in addition to the specific Rules of the Event and the provisions of the Institution.
GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSION AND PARTICIPATION IN COMPETITIONS
Art. 3. Participation
Any individual or legal entity whose industrial or commercial activities are considered by Feria de Zaragoza to be included in the sectors and products covered by the event may apply to participate in the Competition.
Applications to participate shall be made by completing the pre-registration and participation forms established by Feria de Zaragoza and paying the corresponding registration fees. Feria de Zaragoza reserves the right to admit exhibitors in all cases.
Art. 4. Acceptance of participation
Final acceptance of participation is reserved to the Institution, which may reject any applications that, in its opinion, do not comply with the purposes of the Exhibition.
If the application cannot be accepted for the reason stated, the Institution will refund any amounts already paid, without the applicant being entitled to any compensation.
Art. 5. Request for space
Requests for space must be made using the official Competition form, in accordance with the prices, payment methods and deadlines set out therein.
In the event of failure to pay within the established deadlines, the Exhibitor shall lose all rights to the reserved space, which shall become available to the Institution, which may offer it to other companies.
If the Exhibitor has made any payment on account, the corresponding amounts will be retained by Feria de Zaragoza as compensation for the damages caused.
In any case, except for exceptions accepted by the Institution, the occupation of exhibition space will not be authorised until the full price corresponding to it has been paid. Stands will not be assembled until this requirement has been met.
Applications will no longer be accepted once there are no commercial spaces available for stand assembly.
Art. 6. Method of payment
Payments may be made in accordance with the terms agreed in the space application:
- In cash.
- By cheque or current account promissory note, certified by a bank.
- By bank cheque.
- By bank transfer to Feria de Muestras de Zaragoza.
- Credit card.
In the latter case, the Institution reserves the right to prohibit the removal of furniture, objects and installations from the exhibition grounds until the transfer has been completed.
Art. 7. Acknowledgement of receipt
The Institution shall acknowledge receipt of space requests received together with the corresponding payment. If accepted, the space request shall constitute a contract between the applicant and the Institution.
Art. 8. Allocation of space
Once the event has been divided into sectors, where applicable, space will be allocated for each sector, taking into account the interest of the product to be exhibited, in order of date of receipt of the completed application form with the corresponding payment.
The Institution reserves the right to alter the allocated spaces (their location or shape) for technical or organisational reasons.
Except in exceptional cases accepted by the Institution, the exhibitor shall have no acquired rights over the exhibition space occupied, if any, in the last edition held, the distribution of spaces in accordance with the needs of each Event being the exclusive competence of the Institution.
Art. 9. Payment for services
The amounts corresponding to the services provided to the exhibitor shall be paid upon presentation of the charges, and always before the removal of goods, property or installations from the premises.
The cancellation of a service shall entail the payment of 25% of the corresponding fee.
Art. 10. Withdrawal of the exhibitor
The withdrawal of the exhibitor from participation shall result in the loss of any amount paid.
If the withdrawal takes place within thirty days prior to the opening of the Exhibition, the exhibitor may be required to pay the full amount for their space, even if it is subsequently occupied by another exhibitor. If the withdrawal takes place at any time prior to those thirty days, only 50% of the total amount for the contracted space shall be payable.
Likewise, in the event that, upon occupying the contracted space, the exhibitor decides to occupy less space than that stated in the application-contract, the exhibitor shall be obliged to pay for the entire space actually contracted.
Art. 11. Transfer of space. Collective stands
Under no circumstances may the exhibitor transfer to third parties part or all of the rights to the space allocated to them, nor, consequently, may the space be occupied by several co-exhibitors, except with the prior authorisation of the Institution in the case of collective stands.
Art. 12. Exhibition catalogue
The Institution may publish an Official Catalogue, which shall contain a list of the exhibitors confirmed up to the closing date.
Art. 13. Advertising in the catalogue
The exhibitor may insert advertising in the Catalogue in accordance with the specific rules of the exhibition, contained in the corresponding application form, and at the price listed in the rates for each exhibition.
Art. 14. Exhibitor Card
In order to participate in the fair, all exhibitors must obtain an "exhibitor card," which is the document that accredits their status during the days of the event. The exhibitor card will be issued in the name of the company.
In order to obtain this card, it will be necessary to have made the corresponding payments for the stand and services and/or to have provided the corresponding supporting documents.
Art. 15. Access
Exhibitors and visitors shall access the Exhibition Centre and the pavilions through the gates indicated by the Institution in each case and on the dates and at the times indicated for each event.
Art. 16. Vehicle access, loading and unloading of goods
Access to the Exhibition Centre and the interior of the pavilions shall be through the doors and on the days and at the times indicated in each case. Access to the interior of the pavilions shall be exclusively for the purpose of unloading materials.
The exhibitor undertakes to inform the companies contracted to carry out the transport, loading and unloading of goods of the content of the provisions of these General Rules of Participation which, due to the work entrusted to them at the Exhibition Centre, may affect them.
Art. 17. Opening hours
The timetable for each day of the event shall be as indicated by the Institution. The public is prohibited from remaining on the premises outside the hours set for this purpose.
Exceptions are made for persons with an exhibitor card issued by Feria de Zaragoza, who may access the Exhibition Centre thirty minutes before the scheduled opening time and may remain there until half an hour after closing time.
In exceptional cases, the Institution may extend these times.
Art. 18. Maximum sound level
Noisy demonstrations that may disturb other exhibitors are prohibited, and the limits established in the Ordinance for Protection against Noise and Vibrations and other applicable legislation in force must always be complied with.
In the event of disturbance due to the authorised sound level being exceeded, the Institution shall verify this fact and require the exhibitor to reduce the volume to the authorised limits. In the event of refusal or repeated non-compliance with the rule, Feria de Zaragoza will proceed to cut off the electricity supply to the stand and, where appropriate, to close the stand, without the exhibitor being entitled to a refund of the amounts paid or to compensation of any kind.
Art. 19. Photography and filming
Authorisation from the Institution is required to take photographs and film the Exhibition Centre. However, exhibitors may freely take photographs and film elements belonging exclusively to their own stand.
In any case, the Institution reserves the right to photograph, draw or film the facilities and the products on display, in order to include them in its publications and brochures or in any other written, audiovisual or computerised medium through which it promotes or advertises its facilities or the events that are or may be held there.
Feria de Zaragoza may prohibit the screening of films and slides at stands if they cause disturbance to other exhibitors or visitors, as well as any entertainment or show initiative of any type, nature or characteristics, even if it is limited to the interior of the stand or is for the purpose of presenting products, if prior authorisation has not been obtained from the Institution.
Art. 20. Promotional materials
All advertising of any kind inside the Fair shall refer exclusively to the merchandise on display or listed in the exhibitor's own catalogue.
Such advertising, whether through the distribution of leaflets, catalogues relating to such items or any other means, shall be carried out by exhibitors only within each stand, in accordance with normally accepted advertising practices and refraining from any procedure that involves unfair competition.
Any advertising activity to be carried out on the exhibition grounds outside the stands will require prior written authorisation from the fair management.
Under no circumstances may any advertising be carried out for companies that have not formally confirmed their presence at the event.
It is strictly forbidden to carry out, either within or outside the stand itself, any activity, either directly or through third parties, that involves misleading advertising or propaganda or interference, disparagement or contempt for other brands, logos or symbols other than those of the exhibitor, regardless of the method used, such as distributing leaflets or wearing costumes that ridicule third parties.
In the event of any of these disruptive activities occurring, liability will be incurred that will allow the event organisers or the institution to immediately suppress these prohibited activities, including closing the stand and, in any case, paying for any damages caused.
Art. 21. Exhibition Obligation
The objects and products on display must remain in the exhibitor's spaces during the days and hours of the Event.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the exhibitor may sell, in whole or in part, the items on display at the stand, respecting, in all cases, the provisions of the legal regulations in force.
In the case of the sale of small products that can be instantly replaced by others of identical characteristics, the delivery of the same to the buyer may be made on the spot, proceeding with such replacement at the stand.
In cases where such immediate replacement is not possible, the items that have been sold may be removed at the end of the event with the prior written authorisation of the seller and an exit order from the Institution.
Art. 22. Entry/exit of goods and objects during the event
For the entry/exit of materials, objects and products of all kinds during the event, each exhibitor must request an individual permit from the Institution and must comply with the schedules set.
Art. 23. Goods on display
Exhibitors who present goods that are not related to the theme of the Event will lose their right to the spaces they have contracted. Only products included in the sectors covered by the Event will be allowed on the stands. In the event of non-compliance with this obligation, the exhibitor will be notified so that they can proceed to immediately remove the products. If, within four hours, the exhibitor does not remove them, at the end of the fair day and without further notice, the stand will be closed and shut down, without the exhibitor being entitled to a refund of the amounts paid or compensation of any kind.
Art. 24. Industrial property
The exhibitor undertakes not to display at their stand any product or service that imitates those of others or that could infringe exclusive industrial property rights, whether registered or not, or to engage in any other practice that could be considered unfair during the exhibition.
It is strictly forbidden to display catalogues, information leaflets or any type of advertising material on the stand that in any way infringes current legislation or violates the rights of third parties. Feria de Zaragoza shall have full inspection powers on the premises in order to be able to verify through its services any breach of the above-mentioned practices.
To this end, the exhibitor undertakes to allow access to its facilities to authorised personnel designated by the Fair. In particular, it agrees to submit its stand and the products or services offered therein to inspection by the Fair, and must allow duly accredited authorised professionals from Feria de Zaragoza access to its stand for the purpose of taking photographs or viewing the stand.
Failure to comply with the regulations issued by the Fair to deal with plagiarism, infringement of industrial property rights, or any other unfair practice may be grounds for exclusion from participation in future trade fairs and shall entitle Feria de Zaragoza to close the stand, without the exhibitor being entitled to a refund of the amounts paid or to compensation of any kind.
Art. 25. Arbitration clause for the resolution of disputes between exhibitors arising from industrial property rights
The exhibitor undertakes that any dispute, discrepancy, issue or claim between exhibitors relating to industrial property rights in connection with their participation in the Exhibition covered by this contract shall be submitted and finally resolved by administrative arbitration by the Court of Arbitration and Mediation of the Zaragoza Chamber of Commerce, which is entrusted with the administration of the arbitration and the appointment of the arbitrators, in accordance with its Rules and Statutes.
Given the short duration of the various events, and in order for the arbitration not to become ineffective, complaints must be submitted at the beginning of the event, and if possible before it begins.
RATES AND FEES FOR SPACES AND SERVICES
Art. 26. Space occupancy fee
The space occupancy fee is that which appears on the Application Form, which specifies the price per square metre for each of the covered pavilions and uncovered areas of the Exhibition Centre.
Art. 27. Exhibitor's rights
The space occupancy fee represents exclusively the rental of the contracted space from the date specified for the start of assembly, during the event, and until the deadline set for the dismantling to be fully completed.
Art. 28. Service fees
The services provided to the exhibitor by the Institution, such as electricity, water, telephone, IT, internet access, and any others that may be contracted, will be invoiced by Feria de Zaragoza in accordance with the current rates.
When any of the services available at the Fair must be provided directly to the exhibitor by the supplier companies, the latter shall be obliged to sign the corresponding documents and shall be invoiced in accordance with the current rates.
The performance by the exhibitor at the exhibition centre of any type of event or activity, regardless of the mode of reproduction, without exception, that accrues copyright subject to the Intellectual Property Law, will require the express authorisation of the Institution. The exhibitor will also be responsible for requesting this authorisation from the General Society of Authors and Publishers (SGAE) prior to the start of the event. The exhibitor must notify the Institution in writing and prior to the start of the event of the authorisation granted by the SGAE and the applicable fees charged by the SGAE.
The exhibitor, as the party responsible for such acts or activities, is solely obliged to pay the SGAE the applicable fees or royalties, exempting the Institution from any liability arising therefrom. The Institution may require the exhibitor to provide a deposit or guarantee for the amount of the fee or royalty notified by the SGAE, this being a necessary requirement for the exhibitor's participation in the event to be effective. In the event of non-payment by the exhibitor, and in the event that the SGAE makes a simple formal claim to the Institution for the fee or royalty accrued, the Institution may apply the deposit or bond provided by the exhibitor to settle the amount owed by the exhibitor to the SGAE, or in the absence of a deposit or bond, it may claim from the exhibitor, either extrajudicially or judicially, the amounts paid to the SGAE and all expenses incurred as a result.
Art. 29. Contracting services
The venue is equipped with a permanent distribution network for electricity, telephone, water, drainage and compressed air services.
All services supplied from the ducts (telephone, compressed air, water and drainage, etc.) will be distributed on the surface from the duct to the stand requested by the exhibitor.
In order to make the necessary connections at the stands, the exhibitor shall complete the corresponding request forms for the specific services available in the Pavilion or Exhibition Area.
For the correct positioning of the services, it will be essential to send a plan with their desired location at least fifteen days before the start of the official assembly period.
The exhibitor, its contractors and/or subcontractors shall be liable for any damage caused by modifications to the electrical installation or misuse thereof.
Art. 30. Insurance
Exhibitors are required to take out insurance policies covering material damage to the items on display and civil liability. Both policies shall be taken out by the Institution and charged to the exhibitor.
Under no circumstances may the exhibitor hold the Institution or its employees liable for loss or damage to the material and objects in the stand.
Art. 31. Other services
Any other services contracted by the exhibitor, not mentioned above, such as, but not limited to, other insurance policies, cleaning, stand assembly, hostesses, surveillance and security, signage, catering services, etc., shall be at the exhibitor's expense and contracted with the companies that usually provide services to the Fair.
The request for these services shall be made by the exhibitor to the Fair, which shall provide the necessary information and conditions for contracting them.
Any other contracts with third parties that the exhibitor wishes to enter into directly will require the Fair's approval and authorisation in order to ensure proper control of the surveillance and security of the premises and to prevent any incompatibilities that may arise between the services already established by the Fair and/or authorised to other exhibitors.
In either case, it shall be up to the Fair to set the conditions, both with the companies to be contracted and with the exhibitor, under which such authorisations may be granted.
SAFETY RULES
Art. 32. Prohibited activities
Any activities that pose a risk of accident or incident are prohibited on the premises. With regard to both the objects on display and the stand assembly and decoration elements, all applicable Occupational Risk Prevention Regulations must be complied with during their transport, assembly, handling, operation and dismantling.
The storage or display of hazardous, flammable, explosive and unhealthy materials that give off unpleasant odours and may cause discomfort to other exhibitors or visitors is not permitted. Likewise, any activity that is annoying, unhealthy, harmful, dangerous or illegal is prohibited.
It is prohibited to damage the facilities, and painting, fixing plugs or making grooves of any kind is not permitted. Unless expressly authorised in writing by the Zaragoza Trade Fair Management, materials may not be fixed or hung on any structural element. It is not permitted to drill holes in the flooring or attach carpets or construction elements to it with contact adhesive or similar products. These must be attached with double-sided adhesive tape, or to platforms or any other means independent of the flooring.
It is prohibited to drive any type of vehicle once the event has begun.
Live animals are not permitted on the stands, unless expressly authorised by the Specific Rules of the Exhibition, in accordance with current legislation.
The costs of repairing any damage caused by the exhibitor and/or their decorator will always be borne by them.
It is prohibited to project any type of image or beam of light outside the allocated space.
It is strictly prohibited to exhibit any products that may pose a danger to visitors, other exhibitors, suppliers, Feria de Zaragoza staff or its facilities. The display of machines in operation is permitted when this does not represent a danger to people or facilities, with the exhibitors, owners of the stands, being solely responsible for any liabilities that may arise in this regard. Therefore, the necessary protective devices must be installed on the machines, adopting the safety measures required by current regulations and provisions.
Likewise, exhibitors with machines or equipment in operation are obliged to take out a civil liability insurance policy to cover any damage that may be caused by them.
Feria de Zaragoza reserves the right to inspect all facilities at any time through its services and may make any observations it deems appropriate to exhibitors, which must be addressed immediately and without appeal.
Feria de Zaragoza may at any time require exhibitors to remove staff assigned to their stand who, due to their conduct, warrant such action.
Art. 33. Surveillance of the Exhibition Centre
The Institution shall be responsible for the general surveillance of the Exhibition Centre, either through its own staff or through the staff of a specialised company. Under no circumstances shall this security be directed at the personal belongings of each exhibitor.
The Institution, therefore, is not responsible for the theft or robbery of materials and objects deposited at each stand, nor for any damage that may be caused to objects, samples, personal effects, assembly and/or exhibition materials before, during or after the event, nor for any damage that may be caused to vehicles or the loss of belongings from vehicles parked in the areas designated for this purpose.
If any exhibitor wishes to have a specific security service for their stand, they must contract it through the Fair, indicating the number of people required for the service so that the Institution can issue the corresponding authorisation for the service to be provided, if applicable. The costs of this service shall be borne by the exhibitor.
If the exhibitor wishes to contract this service with a different company, they must send the Management, in advance, the complete details of the company and the persons who will perform the service, and the Management will issue, if applicable, the authorisation to perform the service.
Art. 34. No occupation of aisles. Packaging
For safety reasons, during the assembly and dismantling of stands, all materials must remain within the boundaries of the stands, leaving corridors and other common areas completely free. The cleaning service is authorised to remove any materials deposited in these areas, without the right to claim damages.
During the event, exhibitors must leave these spaces completely clear.
Art. 35. Safety easement
The location and access to firefighting equipment and facilities shall be respected: hoses, fire hydrants, extinguishers, alarms, emergency exits, etc., even when they are included within the contracted spaces.
It is also prohibited to totally or partially block access to emergency exits and service areas.
Art. 36. Fire prevention, public order, emergency situations and evacuation
Fire prevention: The materials used for the various constructions (stands, tents, etc.) must comply with current regulations. Among other sections of the various regulations, it is worth highlighting the fire resistance of materials, such as those used in floor coverings, which must be M.3, and in the construction of walls and ceilings, which must be M.2. Similarly, decorative elements must comply with the same characteristics as those used in construction and may not contain any type of material or product that is easily combustible, such as straw, wood shavings, paper shavings, sawdust, peat, etc. Likewise, in order to carry out work, demonstrations or decorations involving open flames, the exhibitor must request the corresponding permit from the Zaragoza Trade Fair Management. Compliance with the regulations may be inspected by the competent official bodies, as well as by the staff of Feria de Zaragoza.
Public order: The exhibitor, its contractors and/or subcontractors, and their dependent staff, are obliged to comply with the applicable legislation in force for the maintenance of public order.
Emergency situations and evacuation: Exhibitors, their contractors and/or subcontractors, and their dependent personnel are obliged to comply with the self-protection plan that will be provided to them at the appropriate time through the business activity coordination procedure.
STAND DECORATION AND CONSTRUCTION
Art. 37. Name or business name
The name or business name appearing on the stand must be the same as that stated on the application form, except in exceptional cases expressly authorised by the Institution.
Art. 38. Stand dimensions
The dimensions of the stands shall be those stated in the application form submitted by the exhibitor or, where applicable, those proposed by the Institution and accepted by the exhibitor.
Under no circumstances may the exhibitor modify the contracted measurements.
Art. 39. Occupation of space
Exhibitors will have the contracted space available on the first day of assembly designated by the Fair, at which time they may begin assembling the stand. The stand must be fully assembled 24 hours before the opening of the Fair.
The dismantling of the stands may not begin before the times and dates indicated by the Fair.
Art. 40. Assembly fee
Before the start of stand assembly, the resulting amount for the assembly fee shall be paid to the Fair Administration, in accordance with the rates listed in the Services Folder.
Companies that choose to decorate their stands themselves must submit the decoration project (floor plan and elevations) to the Management for approval at least one month before the opening of the Exhibition. In these cases, the exhibitor shall be jointly and severally liable for any damage caused to the facilities of Feria de Zaragoza by the decorator or other subcontracted companies.
Exhibitors shall bear any costs for lighting, security, etc., that may arise as a direct result of the assembly and dismantling of their facilities (not the general costs of the exhibition centre).
Art. 41. General issues
In order to facilitate the assembly and dismantling of stands, as well as to ensure the best possible maintenance of the facilities at the venue, the Institution may issue general or specific rules for the decoration and construction of stands that it deems appropriate.
Art. 42. Double-level stands
The Institution may authorise the assembly of stands with a second level in certain areas of the Exhibition Centre in accordance with the Rules for the decoration and construction of stands and the Project to be submitted by a competent technician and approved by the corresponding official association.
For billing purposes, the price of the second level shall be that indicated at the time of granting the authorisation and shall in no case exceed that of the surface area on which it is located.
Art. 43. Removal of assembly materials
In accordance with current legislation on urban waste, the exhibitor undertakes, jointly and severally with its contractor, to remove, at the end of the Event, all waste directly derived from its activity or that of its contractors, including assembly materials, decoration, plastics, paint containers, etc.
Consequently, all exhibitors, as well as companies contracted and/or subcontracted to assemble and/or dismantle stands, are obliged to assemble, dismantle and remove the materials used for assembly within the time periods established for this purpose.
Once the period established for the dismantling of the stand has elapsed, all materials still remaining in the pavilion will be removed by Feria de Zaragoza, with the exhibitor losing all rights to claim for loss or damage to them and being responsible for the costs of their removal, which will be invoiced by Feria de Zaragoza.
Art. 44. Removal of goods once the event has ended
In order to remove goods, it will be essential to present the exit form provided by the Institution at the exit of the venue. No goods exit form will be issued until full payment has been made for all invoices arising from the exhibitor's participation in the Fair and for all services provided to the exhibitor by the Fair, with the goods being retained as security for such payments, without prejudice to any corresponding claims.
LEGAL AND CONTRACTUAL MATTERS
Art. 45. Disclaimer
The Institution is not responsible for any loss of material or objects deposited at each stand due to theft, robbery or damage that may occur before, during or after the event.
Nor shall it be liable for any damage caused to persons or property as a result of the Event, or for the safety and soundness of the stands and their fixed or mobile installations.
Art. 46. Complaints
Any anomalies observed and any complaints made in relation to them must be recorded in writing and addressed to the Management, proving the status of exhibitor.
Art. 47. Statistical information
Exhibitors shall provide the Institution with the data necessary to compile the relevant statistics.
Art. 48. Personnel employed by the exhibitor
At no time shall there be any employment relationship between Feria de Zaragoza and the personnel that the exhibitor and the companies involved in the assembly and/or dismantling of their stand, as contractors and/or subcontractors, send to the Exhibition Centre to carry out any of the work covered by their contract, either directly or indirectly.
Both the exhibitor and the companies carrying out work for them must have their personnel insured and be up to date with the payment of all their salaries, Social Security contributions, withholdings and declarations, tax settlements, and all labour and tax obligations provided for in current legislation, as well as complying with the provisions on occupational risk prevention. Feria de Zaragoza is authorised to demand the presentation of documents proving that they are up to date with these obligations and declines any possible claim or incident in this regard. They must also have civil liability cover for any actions they may take.
Art. 49. Exhibitor obligations
Without prejudice to other obligations set out in these Rules, the exhibitor is obliged to:
- Keep your stand clean.
- Have the stand ready when the competition opens.
- Leave the space in the same condition as you found it.
Art. 50.1 Date changes, cancellation and suspension
If, for reasons attributable to the Institution, the Competition is cancelled or suspended, exhibitors shall be entitled to a refund of the amounts paid up to that point, without any right to compensation.
The cancellation or suspension, whether temporary or permanent, total or partial, of the Competition due to unforeseeable circumstances or force majeure shall not be considered attributable to the Institution, including, in addition to the usual definitions, those originating from third parties, such as strikes, water and electricity supply cuts, or cases of similar severity. Force majeure is also considered to be when the wind speed is such that it is advisable to suspend the competition for the safety of people and property.
In the event of force majeure, the dates of each event may be modified or cancelled, in which case the Institution declines all responsibility and is solely and exclusively obliged to refund the amounts received for the rental of the space or stand, and may retain up to 25% of the price paid for the stand from exhibitors as compensation for general organisational expenses. If the suspension occurs after the event has begun, the amount paid will not be refunded.
Art. 50.2 Extraordinary clause COVID 19
In the event that the event is definitively suspended in order to safeguard the health of all those involved, as a result of compliance with the recommendations of the public authorities, exhibitors may request a refund of all amounts paid, except for those amounts corresponding to expenses incurred by the Fair, where applicable, for services requested by the exhibitor.
Art. 51. Protection of personal data
Feria de Zaragoza informs you that your personal data is being processed by Feria de Zaragoza in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter, GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018, of 5 December, on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights, as the data controller based on the consent you have given.

7. DISPOSICIONES FINALES
Art. 52. Compliance with participation rules
All exhibitors, by virtue of their registration, acknowledges and accepts these General Participation Rules, which are binding on both exhibitors at events held at FERIA DE ZARAGOZA and on the companies they hire or subcontract, as well as on any collaborating companies that, as a result of the event, carry out work or services on behalf of the exhibitor. Consequently, the exhibitor undertakes to communicate these General Rules of Participation to the aforementioned contracted or subcontracted companies or collaborators, insofar as they may be affected by the work entrusted to them to be carried out at the Exhibition Centre.
Failure to comply with these rules may result in disqualification from contracting with FERIA DE ZARAGOZA for a period of time determined by the latter, or from participating in any Event organised by or held at its facilities.
Art. 53. VAT
All invoices issued by the Institution to the exhibitor shall be increased by the current percentage corresponding to Value Added Tax or any other tax that may be applicable at any given time.
Art. 54. Legal regulations
For matters not covered by these rules, the relevant substantive provisions regulating the activity covered by these Rules and the provisions of the Commercial and Civil Codes shall apply.
Art. 55. Jurisdiction
For any issues that may arise in relation to the breach and interpretation of these rules, and any incidents arising from the announcement or holding of the Competition, the parties, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may apply, submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts and Tribunals of Zaragoza.
APPENDIX TO THE GENERAL RULES FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE ZARAGOZA FAIR
CHAPTER 2.- General Conditions of Participation.
"In the event that Feria de Zaragoza authorises, upon written request and technical description of the equipment to be installed, the installation of musical equipment in the stands, such equipment must comply with all the requirements of the "Ordinance for the protection against noise and vibrations of the City Council of Zaragoza" and, in particular, with the provisions of Article 34 "Specific conditions for musical activities in uninhabited buildings" of said Ordinance.
Feria de Zaragoza may require any documentation it deems appropriate to verify compliance with said legislation."
This text is incorporated, for all intents and purposes, into the provisions of Section 2.14 Sound Level of the current Feria de Zaragoza Regulations.
Art. 34 of the Zaragoza City Council Ordinance for Protection against Noise and Vibrations:
Specific conditions for musical activities in uninhabited buildings
- Activities that involve the use of musical equipment or musical activities and which may produce noise levels exceeding 90 dB(A), measured at a distance of 3 metres from the direction of maximum emission, may be carried out in isolated buildings or in commercial and/or service buildings, subject to the following conditions:
- Isolated buildings used exclusively for the activity: minimum acoustic insulation against airborne noise (level difference D) of 55 dB (with a minimum D125 of 49 dB) with respect to the exterior or façade.
- Commercial and/or service buildings: Minimum airborne sound insulation (level difference D) of 65 dB with respect to adjacent premises (with a minimum D125 of 59 dB) and 40 dB with respect to the exterior or façade (with a minimum D125 of 34 dB).
- The following notice must be displayed at the entrance or entrances to the premises in a clearly visible location, both in terms of its size and lighting: "The noise levels inside may cause hearing damage."
- All activities not covered by paragraph 1 of this article must comply with the conditions set out in Article 32 of this Ordinance.
- The rest of the conditions established for this type of premises shall also apply.
- Compliance with the conditions set out in this Article shall not exempt from the obligation to comply with the limits set out in Title III.
The materials used to carry out sound insulation must have the fire reaction indicated in Article 16 of the CPI Basic Building Standard.
