Feria de Zaragoza and Zaragoza City Council present City.360, the new national trade fair for mayors and public administrations
2025-11-26
This morning, the presentation of City.360, the first Fair for Mayors and Public Administrations, took place at the Montemuzo Palace. This initiative of Feria de Zaragoza, in collaboration with the Zaragoza City Council, will be held on November 18 and 19, 2026, at the fairgrounds.
The event was attended by the Mayor, Natalia Chueca, and the President of Feria de Zaragoza, Jorge Villarroya. It also included a round table discussion moderated by the Councilor for Economy, Digital Transformation, and Transparency of the Zaragoza City Council, Carlos Gimeno. Participants included the Director of Corporate Strategic Projects at Atenzia, Pablo Beneítez; the General Manager of Arpa EMC, César Fernández; and the Director of the Aragon branch of FCC Environment, Roberto Ara. The Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) also expressed its support for this first edition.
During the presentation, the mayor of Zaragoza, Natalia Chueca, highlighted the scope of the initiative. In her remarks, she emphasized that “City.360 symbolizes how we want to build the cities of the future: collaboratively, with a global vision, with real solutions, and with constant dialogue between those who provide services and those who manage them.” She also asserted that “this fair was born out of the need for a national benchmark that would bring together all levels of government, large and small, to share knowledge, combine resources, and move forward together toward a more modern, agile, and efficient municipal system.”
For his part, the president of Feria de Zaragoza, Jorge Villarroya, emphasized that City.360 “is not just a fair, but a platform for meeting, dialogue, and solutions,” underscoring that the purpose of this initiative is “to support, facilitate, and strengthen the daily work of those who lead and manage our municipalities.” The president explained that the event stems from listening to city councils, technicians, companies, and those responsible for planning and designing our cities, and emphasized that “it is precisely from this shared vision with administrations and companies that the objectives of City.360 arise.”
The new event is structured around three objectives which, as Villarroya pointed out, “are not mere intentions, but commitments to the daily work of public administrations and to the quality of life of our citizens.”
First, to foster public-private collaboration based on the conviction that only through collaboration between public and private capabilities can effective and lasting solutions be developed. Second, to offer a visible platform for presenting essential services and products for public administrations. And third, to create spaces for training and exchange that help municipal leaders address current and future challenges.
Content and Structure of City360
City360 is structured around eight strategic sectors that represent the main areas of current municipal management. These areas—Technology; Emergencies and Security; Energy and Environment; General Services; Health and Social Services; Sports; Urban Planning; and Culture, Events, and Tourism—have been designed as spaces where public administrations and businesses can learn about solutions, share experiences, and explore initiatives applicable to municipalities of all sizes.
In Technology, local governments will find digital tools to modernize their operations, with a special focus on cybersecurity. The Emergencies and Security area will have its own pavilion dedicated to solutions for surveillance, coordination, and crisis response. Energy and Environment will bring together proposals on energy efficiency, sustainable mobility, and the circular economy, among others. The General Services sector will integrate stakeholders who provide support in financing, legal certainty, regulation, and economic management.
In the Health and Social sector, solutions related to physical, mental, and community well-being will be presented, while the Sports area will offer equipment, management tools, and specialized services to promote physical activity. Urban Planning will bring together proposals for urban regeneration, sustainable infrastructure management, and other initiatives. Finally, the Culture, Events, and Tourism sector will focus on initiatives aimed at revitalizing local activity.
City.360 is born as an essential meeting point for those who manage the future of our cities. With this first edition, Feria de Zaragoza reaffirms its commitment to public administrations and the business community, offering a professional space focused on promoting solutions and fostering collaboration. The fair will also feature a continuous program of content—presentations, debates, and case studies—and an exclusive networking area that will foster connections
