Today, FIMA 2026 was presented at the Zaragoza Chamber of Commerce. At the event, Feria de Zaragoza unveiled the key features of the 44th edition of the fair, which will be held from February 10th to 14th at the Zaragoza Trade Fair Center. The press conference included the participation of Jorge Villarroya, President of Feria de Zaragoza; Rogelio Cuairán, General Manager of Feria de Zaragoza; Fernando Cidraque, Director of FIMA and Head of the Agri-food Area at Feria de Zaragoza; and Enrique Barbero, Director of Communication, Brand, and Institutional Relations at Ibercaja. They all emphasized FIMA's strategic importance to the agricultural sector and its economic and social impact.

Jorge Villarroya, President of Feria de Zaragoza, highlighted that agriculture is undergoing a profound transformation, and that "FIMA has always been, is, and will be there: listening to the sector and connecting its key players." He also emphasized that “FIMA is part of the DNA of Feria de Zaragoza and reflects the effort, adaptability, and forward-thinking vision of a sector essential to the economy, the region, and society.”

Along the same lines, the general manager of Feria de Zaragoza, Rogelio Cuairán, pointed out that “FIMA 2026 will be a key edition with a solid exhibition offering, a strong international presence, and a high-level technical program.” In this regard, he stressed that one of the pillars of this edition will be the program of technical conferences, which will take place throughout the five days of the event and will address key issues such as innovation, sustainability, digitalization, rural development, regulations, mechanization, and the future of the CAP, highlighting the 10th National Rural Development Forum.

For his part, Fernando Cidraque, Director of the Agri-food Area of Feria de Zaragoza and FIMA, emphasized the clear forward-looking focus of the 2026 edition, highlighting two initiatives that reflect the evolution of the agricultural sector: FIMA Tech and FIMA Conecta Talento. He stressed that FIMA Tech “is not just an exhibition area, but an essential meeting point for understanding where agriculture is headed.”

Regarding FIMA Conecta Talento – which will be held on February 13 in Hall 7 – Cidraque noted that “this event addresses a shared need across the sector to attract, train, and integrate young talent.”

During the presentation, the financial sector's commitment to agriculture was also underscored. Enrique Barbero, Director of Communication, Brand, and Institutional Relations at Ibercaja, stated that “supporting FIMA is further proof that the agricultural sector has been, is, and will continue to be a priority for the institution, both in Aragon and in its other key regions.” He also emphasized “Ibercaja’s strong commitment to the agri-food sector, to which it allocates around 10% of its total financing, well above the sector average.”
