The 44th edition of the International Agricultural Machinery Fair (FIMA), held at Feria de Zaragoza from February 10 to 14, has concluded as once again one of the major international events in the agricultural sector, attracting over 187,875 visitors. With more than 1,200 exhibiting brands represented by 638 direct exhibitors from 35 countries, this edition has reaffirmed its strategic importance for the agricultural machinery and technology sector.

The strong international presence and an exhibition offering focused on innovation, digitalization, and sustainability drew a highly professional and specialized audience, with a 12.5% increase in visitors compared to the previous edition.

The participation of these professionals generated high-level business opportunities, positioning FIMA as the key meeting point driving the modernization of the agricultural sector and shaping its strategic future.

Family Day

FIMA 2026 celebrated its fifth and final day with a special program dedicated to families, generational renewal, and social values linked to rural life.

Activities on Family Day were the centerpiece of the closing day, aimed at a broader audience, bringing agriculture, machinery, and the rural environment closer to families and reinforcing FIMA’s role as a reference event for the sector.

As part of this special program, the session “History, Challenges, and Opportunities for Rural Women”, organized by AFAMMER in Pavilion 7, highlighted the role of women in rural development, addressing current challenges in equality, visibility, entrepreneurship, and population retention, as well as their historical and present contributions to the agricultural sector.

In addition, children took part in a gymkhana organized in collaboration with the Polytechnic School of Huesca, an initiative designed to engage them in the fair in an educational and dynamic way, allowing them to explore it in greater depth.

Technology and Innovation on the Closing Day

Technological innovation remained a highlight on the closing day. In the FIMA TECH space at Pavilion 9, John Deere presented its latest technological solutions, reaffirming the fair’s commitment to modernization, digitalization, and improved efficiency in agricultural operations.

FIMA 2026 closes its doors, reaffirming its role as a driver of the agricultural sector and inviting the entire industry to its next edition, where innovation, technology, and agricultural development will once again set the course for the future.
