FIMA takes another step forward in its commitment to innovation with the launch of FIMA Tech
2025-12-16
FIMA 2026 reinforces its position as a leader in agricultural innovation with the creation of FIMA Tech, a pioneering space dedicated entirely to technology and digitalization in the agricultural sector. This new technology hub will be the meeting point where agriculture and technology merge.
A space for digital transformation in agriculture
FIMA Tech was created in response to the sector's need to gain competitiveness, efficiency, and sustainability through technology. Beyond the traditional exhibition, this space is designed as a platform for knowledge, networking, and business, positioning FIMA as the epicenter of agricultural innovation in Southern Europe.
During the five days of the fair, FIMA Tech will bring together the leading technology players in the agricultural sector to create a dynamic ecosystem where technology becomes a key tool for competitiveness, sustainability, and efficiency in agriculture.
Therefore, FIMA Tech establishes itself as a benchmark for showcasing the most advanced solutions applied to the agricultural sector. Among the technologies showcased will be agricultural robotics and automation, artificial intelligence, big data and predictive analytics, precision agriculture and resource management, digital platforms, IoT, and applied sensors.
The space will offer a unique and dynamic environment with exhibition areas, demonstration zones, presentation stages, and dedicated networking spaces. This structure will allow participants to connect with clients, investors, and key players in the agri-tech ecosystem. Furthermore, all FIMA Tech exhibitors will have complimentary access to the multidisciplinary space for holding conferences and workshops, as well as to the Pitch Point, an agile platform designed for express business presentations where startups and innovative projects can present their solutions to leading companies in the sector. This format will facilitate connections between technological supply and business demand, fostering real collaborations and business opportunities.
Who is it for?
FIMA Tech is open to all visitors of the fair and is especially geared towards a wide range of stakeholders driving innovation in the sector: technology companies with solutions applied to the agri-food environment, manufacturers and suppliers of smart agricultural machinery, consultancies specializing in digital transformation, startups and spin-offs developing disruptive products, technology centers, universities, associations and research groups, clusters, innovation platforms and agri-food tech hubs, as well as public institutions and entities that support entrepreneurship. All companies and entities whose activity is entirely technology-based or that develop technology projects focused on the digitalization of the agricultural sector are eligible to participate as exhibitors.
Technical Conference Program
FIMA Tech will host a comprehensive program of conferences and knowledge forums where experts, researchers, and companies will discuss the challenges and opportunities of the agri-food technology sector. Topics to be covered include connectivity, the digitalization of the production model, precision automation, data processing, and artificial intelligence.
These tech sessions complement the program of technical workshops and parallel activities at FIMA 2026, reinforcing the event's role as a knowledge transfer platform and a benchmark for agricultural innovation in Southern Europe.
