The announcement of the first ENOMAQ 2015 Excellence Award is undoubtedly one of the major new features of the upcoming edition of the International Exhibition of Machinery and Equipment for Wineries and Bottling (ENOMAQ), which will be held from February 24 to 27 at the Zaragoza Trade Fair Center. This award, aimed at wineries in the Iberian Peninsula, recognizes innovation and the implementation of new technical processes adapted to the industry and current markets.

ENOMAQ, the leading trade fair for the sector in Spain and one of the most important in Europe, is the ideal platform for the dissemination and promotion of techniques, machinery, and equipment for wineries. Therefore, the Zaragoza Trade Fair Center, aware of the importance of the ENOMAQ brand in the international market, is promoting this initiative, which complements the Technical Innovations Competition. These awards are given to manufacturers who have introduced significant technical innovations in the machine manufacturing process.

A jury of experts in the field will evaluate the applications based on the management model, traceability, sustainability, environmental management, and quality management. The ENOMAQ Excellence Award aims to recognize the outstanding work of wineries in their commitment to research, development, and innovation (R&D&I) as a hallmark of their projects, respecting the environment and fostering competitiveness within the sector.

With the implementation of this award, Feria de Zaragoza and ENOMAQ reinforce the event's leadership and its international standing as a leading trade fair showcasing the full technological potential of winery and bottling machinery. The deadline for submitting projects is January 23, 2015.
