2015-01-26
With just one month to go before the joint celebration of five events at the Zaragoza Trade Fair—Enomaq, Tecnovid, Oleomaq, Oleotec, and Fruyver—from February 24 to 27, the organizers have designed an engaging program of activities, including top-level technical workshops and conferences.
The activities running parallel to the exhibition are a valuable resource for industry professionals, thanks to the quality of the topics presented, their in-depth analysis, the exchange of experiences and opinions they foster, and the participation of both national and international experts. Organized by associations, professional bodies, research centers, and media outlets, the workshops address the needs and concerns of the sector, offering in-depth analyses of issues related to wine, olive oil, and fruits and vegetables.
Among the proposed topics are improvements in production and marketing strategies, trends in the production process, sustainability, and competitiveness, among others. While the program is still being finalized, the collaboration and participation of the following entities is noteworthy:
- Official Association of Agricultural Engineers of Aragon, Navarre, and the Basque Country: Workshops on February 25, 26, and 27:
- Stone Fruits
- Olive Oil Production and Preservation
- Marketing of Olive Oil in the National and International Markets
- Grape Varieties for Winemaking
- Wine Week: Workshop on Organic Wines: A Future Alternative? February 26. Sponsored by the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (OIV)
- Center for Research on Energy Consumption and Resources (CIRCE Zaragoza): Seminar on Sustainability in Wine Production, February 27.
This edition will also feature "The Winemaker's Corner," organized by the Spanish Federation of Winemakers' Associations (FEAE), where professionals participate in wine tastings and workshops analyzing the main challenges facing the sector. This space, with its dynamic and engaging format, generates significant interest each year. February 24, 25, 26, and 27 in Hall 9.
