The wine and olive oil industries will meet at the Feria de Zaragoza in 2019

2018-04-05

Wine and olive oil come together to transform the city of Zaragoza, from February 26 to March 1, 2019, into the leading showcase of the technological potential of the national and international agri-food industry.

For four days, professionals will have the opportunity to discover the latest innovations in machinery and technologies applied to the wine and olive oil industries, two key sectors for the Mediterranean economy.

The professional events –ENOMAQ-TECNOVID-OLEOMAQ-OLEOTEC– combine innovation, research, and development. In addition to the exhibition of equipment and products, the fair's program includes a wide and varied schedule of technical workshops and conferences, where the most relevant topics for the sector are discussed and the needs and concerns expressed by professionals themselves are analyzed.

In this regard, the trade fair institution demonstrates its commitment to the agri-food industry by participating in the organization of leading European congresses and forums. One of the most important will be Enoforum, which, from May 31 to June 1 of this year, will bring together the sector's main players at the Feria de Zaragoza facilities. A panel of experts will participate in the eleventh edition of this event, where the world of Spanish wine will take center stage.

Furthermore, the organizers of ENOMAQ, OLEOMAQ, TECNOVID, and OLEOTEC highlight the development of new equipment and cutting-edge techniques that facilitate the manufacturing, marketing, and/or distribution processes of these products. Therefore, in the coming days, the deadlines and requirements for participating in the awards organized by the trade fair institution will be announced. These awards recognize projects from companies working on market research, quality improvement, safety, and environmental responsibility, among other factors.

The strong figures from the 2017 edition have demonstrated the agri-food sector's confidence in the four trade shows and contribute to strengthening their position on the international stage. A total of 268,000 attendees from thirty-two countries around the world visited the Zaragoza trade fair grounds in February of last year with the aim of discovering the future of two strategic sectors: wine and olive oil.
