The olive oil and wine sectors are betting on innovation and research as key elements for competitiveness and profitability
2015-12-17
The agri-food industry will once again gather at Feria de Zaragoza from February 21 to 24, 2017. The joint event of ENOMAQ, TECNOVID, OLEOMAQ, OLEOTEC, and FRUYVER will position the Aragonese capital as the international technological epicenter, showcasing cutting-edge machinery for the wine, olive oil, vegetable, and fruit industries.
ENOMAQ, TECNOVID, OLEOMAQ, OLEOTEC, and FRUYVER, each with a strong presence in their respective sectors, will become the hub of the international market for state-of-the-art machinery and technology for the wine, olive oil, and fruit and vegetable industries.
The five trade shows are distinguished primarily by their strong commitment to R&D&I as essential tools for achieving profitability and competitiveness in accordance with market demands.
Trade missions, held within the framework of ENOMAQ, OLEOMAQ, TECNOVID, OLEOTEC, and FRUYVER, are a key tool for the international promotion of the five trade shows. As part of its policy to foster access to foreign markets for Spanish companies, Feria de Zaragoza directly organizes these business meetings between machinery importers and Spanish producers. This results in several pre-arranged and scheduled business meetings.
The 2011, 2013, and 2015 editions brought together a total of 174 people from 166 companies, representing 30 countries, including Algeria, Argentina, the United States, Australia, Jordan, Israel, Morocco, South Africa, Turkey, and Tunisia, among others. The significant increase in the participation of foreign companies in these meetings is noteworthy, demonstrating the high quality of the exhibits and the technological potential of the events.
Another pillar of strength for the five agri-food industry trade shows is the quality of the numerous technical seminars and conferences held during the events. More than 100 seminars took place between 2011 and 2015, with the participation of industry associations, professional bodies, research centers, and technical media outlets. All stakeholders are involved in designing a comprehensive program of activities that addresses the needs and concerns raised by the professionals themselves.
The pavilions at the Zaragoza Trade Fair Center will once again provide the ideal setting for showcasing machinery for wine and olive oil processing, the latest bottling equipment, and laboratory supplies. In addition, tractors and equipment for tilling, planting, fertilizing, and irrigating vineyards and olive groves will be on display at this major event for the agri-food industry, along with other essential machinery for harvesting and handling grapes and olives.
