The Enomaq 2017 micro-tasting program leaves a great impression on companies, wineries and professionals

ENOMAQ has a new attraction. The wine fair has concluded its 21st edition with good news, both for the agri-food sector—due to its upward trend—and for the Aragonese trade fair institution. In addition to closing with very positive figures—more than 26,800 visitors toured its pavilions—Feria de Zaragoza has launched a new activity with resounding success: the micro-tasting program.
The event, which took place on the morning of Friday, the last day of the fair, was very well received by the professionals who participated. Winemakers, Horeca channel professionals, sommeliers, and specialized press tasted different types of wine from the wineries Arco de Curiel (Ribera del Duero), San Valero (Cariñena), Real Rubio (Rioja), and Heredad Carlos Valero.
Furthermore, the exhibiting companies M. A. Silva y Garzón, TDI, Pieralisi, Direma, EAB, New Holland, AEB Ibérica, Saica, Agrovin, AZ3, Magreñan, and Della Tofolla, which generously provided their stands for the event, also deemed the experience a success. The twenty or so participants enjoyed the insights of winemakers and experts, who explained the characteristics, grape varieties, winemaking processes, and other interesting aspects of the wines tasted, as well as the unique features of the different wineries.
Thus, the micro-tasting program, designed by the trade fair organizers, left a very positive impression on all who took part. The general manager of Feria de Zaragoza, Rogelio Cuairán, confirmed that, given the overwhelming success of this activity, it will likely be repeated in future editions. “Thanks to the willingness shown by the wineries and companies that participated, we were able to learn more about the world of wine in a relaxed and informal atmosphere,” said Cuairán, who also highlighted the high professional level of the experts who led the tastings.
