Sustainability and sensory analysis take center stage at Enomaq 2017

Sustainability and sensory analysis will be the main focus of the upcoming ENOMAQ-TECNOVID-OLEOMAQ-OLEOTEC-FRUYVER event. As part of the international wine and olive oil fairs, the sessions organized by La Semana Vitivinícola (SeVi), the Spanish Association of Master and Operator Olive Mills (AEMODA), and Interempresas Media will address the key aspects of sustainable viticulture and improvements in the sensory analysis of olive oil.
Under the title "Wine and Sustainability," the SeVi technical session, held on the morning of February 16th, will analyze the different models and categories of sustainable wine certification, consumer involvement, the latest technological developments in this field, the development of grape varieties resistant to fungal diseases, and other key points of this sensitive and timely topic.
On February 14th, olive mill masters and operators have an unmissable appointment with the seminar organized by AEMODA. This seminar will focus on the present and future of sensory analysis of olive oil, with an approach to tasting this liquid gold based on advancements in the wine sector.
The general manager of Feria de Zaragoza, Rogelio Cuairán, will inaugurate both symposia, which will be moderated by representatives of each organizing body. Each, in its respective field, represents an essential theoretical framework for wine and olive oil professionals.
