The Conference Centre closes its first quarter of 2026 with an impact of 1.5 million euros

2026-04-09

The Zaragoza Conference Centre has concluded the first quarter of 2026 with results that confirm its strategic role in the economy of the Aragonese capital. Between January and March 2026, the venue hosted four national and international congresses, bringing together 2,300 people from across Spain and abroad, generating a direct economic impact in Zaragoza estimated at €1,474,400.

Although the Zaragoza Conference Centre is known in the city as a venue for corporate events, graduation ceremonies, and various types of performances, these figures demonstrate its versatility in hosting other events such as top-tier scientific, professional, and industry conferences, both national and international.

A Top-Tier Professional Calendar

The year began with the 2nd National Congress on Updates in Clinical Gynecology, a key event for professionals in the field. In February, the venue hosted the largest congress of the quarter: the 13th National Congress of the Wound Society, with over 1,200 participants.

The last month of the quarter featured two congresses. First, AEDEMO 2026, the annual congress of the Spanish Association of Market Research, Marketing and Communication, addressed the major challenges of the contemporary audiovisual ecosystem: advertising measurement and effectiveness, audience transformation, the role of artificial intelligence, and new market dynamics. Second, the 11th International Congress of the Spanish Society for Precision Health (SESAP) 2026 brought together experts to create synergies between Medicine and Nutrition at the forefront of clinical practice, positioning Zaragoza as an international hub of health knowledge.

The Zaragoza Conference Center thus reaffirms its commitment to being a driving force for the local economy. Each conference held at its facilities is, at the same time, an opportunity for Zaragoza to be known and appreciated by the professionals who visit. The Conference Center's goal is for every attendee to leave wanting to return, not only to participate in future conferences, but also to discover everything the city has to offer.

With this start to the year, the Conference Center is consolidating its position as a driving force behind MICE tourism in Zaragoza. This strategic sector generates economic returns, boosts business activity, and projects the city's image both within and beyond our borders.
