ENOMAQ, the International Exhibition of Machinery and Techniques for the Cultivation, Processing, and Packaging of the Beverage and Liquid Food Industry, has opened the call for entries for its Competition for Technological Improvements and Innovations and its Excellence Awards. Feria de Zaragoza once again celebrates the recognition of the R&D&I investment of exhibiting companies and the achievements of professionals committed to innovation in winemaking, viticulture, olive growing, olive oil production, the brewing industry, tree farming, and the beverage and liquid food industry.

Competition for Technological Improvements and Innovations

The Competition recognizes equipment, devices, machines, or systems presented for the first time at ENOMAQ and that have begun to be marketed after ENOMAQ 2025 (February 11-13, 2025). It includes two categories: Technological Innovations, for developments that represent a genuine novelty in the functions or procedures of systems, and Technological Improvements, for significant advancements on products already present in the national or international market.

An independent Evaluation Panel will assess each application based on practical applicability, advantages related to work performance, improved reliability, cost-effectiveness, ergonomics and human capital safety, health and/or biosecurity, business management, and energy efficiency and environmental impact.

Exhibiting companies must complete their online registration, submitting one form per product or service, before November 12, 2026. The rules can be found here. The Panel will meet on November 19, 2026, to review the submitted documentation and reject any applications that do not meet the requirements. The decision will be announced on December 10, 2026.

ENOMAQ Excellence Awards 2027

The Excellence Awards recognize the overall excellence of the candidate company, whether it is a winery (ENOMAQ Viticulture Excellence Award), olive oil mill (ENOMAQ Olive Oil Technology Excellence Award), or brewery (ENOMAQ Brewing Industry Excellence Award), evaluating its facilities, production systems and techniques used, management model, traceability, sustainability, environmental management, and quality management, as well as its advocacy and promotion of the sector it represents.

Companies or organizations visiting or exhibiting at the 2027 edition that have implemented and are operating the model they present and that strictly comply with current legislation are eligible for these awards.

ENOMAQ Master Brewer Award

The 2027 ENOMAQ Master Brewer Award retains its two categories: Outstanding Professional Career, aimed at master brewers with exemplary work for the sector, and Craft Beer Creation, which recognizes the creation of a beer with natural ingredients, sustainability, and distinctive quality, and requires the submission of three bottles of the candidate product for the Jury's tasting.

ENOMAQ Olive Mill Master Award

The ENOMAQ Olive Mill Master Award, in its Outstanding Professional Career category, recognizes the sustained or particularly noteworthy work of individuals who have served as olive mill masters and who constitute an exemplary role model for the olive oil sector, as evidenced by a curriculum vitae.

This edition also incorporates a new category for Best National Extra Virgin Olive Oil, which aims to recognize the creativity of the Olive Mill Master in creating an extra virgin olive oil that offers characteristic, differentiating, and unique elements.

ENOMAQ Winemaker Award

The ENOMAQ Winemaker Award maintains its two categories: Outstanding Professional Career, which recognizes sustained or particularly noteworthy work in the wine sector based on the candidate's curriculum vitae, and Unique Wine Creation, which recognizes a winemaker's creativity in creating a great wine and requires the submission of two bottles of the candidate wine for tasting by the Evaluation Panel.

ENOMAQ will celebrate its 25th edition from January 26 to 28, 2027, at the Zaragoza Trade Fair, coinciding with the fair's 50th anniversary under the motto "The essence that unites us."
