ENOMAQ turns Zaragoza into the epicenter of the wine, oil and beer industry

Feria de Zaragoza will once again become the meeting point for the wine, olive oil, and beer industries from February 11th to 13th with the celebration of the 24th edition of ENOMAQ-OLEOMAQ-EBEER-TECNOVIC-OLEOTEC, the International Exhibition of Machinery, Techniques, and Equipment for wineries, olive oil mills, and the brewing industry.
The event, well-established for professionals in the three sectors involved, presents very promising prospects in this new edition, bringing together more than 936 participating brands from 30 countries across five continents in pavilions 4, 5, 6, 8, and 9 of the Zaragoza fairgrounds, with an exhibition area of 48,600 square meters. These figures reaffirm the strong support the event receives from institutions, associations, and companies in the sector.
Today, the press conference for the presentation of ENOMAQ 2025 was held at the Zaragoza Chamber of Commerce. Jorge Villarroya, President of Feria de Zaragoza; Rogelio Cuairán, General Manager of Feria de Zaragoza; and Alberto López, Business Development Director, participated in the event, sharing key aspects and expectations for this year's edition with the media.
The president of Feria de Zaragoza, Jorge Villarroya, highlighted the positive attendance prospects for this event, emphasizing its economic impact on the city: “According to data provided by Horeca, high occupancy rates are expected in Zaragoza during the event. This economic dynamism, driven by ENOMAQ and other events organized by Feria de Zaragoza, positions our city at the global epicenter of the sectors involved, strengthening the prestige of the “Zaragoza Brand.”
Along the same lines, Alberto López emphasized how events like ENOMAQ also contribute to the city's strategic positioning: “Events like ENOMAQ not only generate a direct economic impact, but also put Zaragoza on the map as a key meeting point for leading sectors and industries.” He also highlighted the ongoing efforts of Feria de Zaragoza, which organizes more than 100 events annually. “Although many of them are not widely publicized, they have a direct impact on promoting Zaragoza as a business tourism destination and reinforce its role as a strategic hub on the Iberian Peninsula and internationally.”
For his part, Rogelio Cuairán emphasized the professionalism of attendees as a key differentiating factor. “Attracting qualified and specialized visitors to ENOMAQ is fundamental, as this not only benefits exhibiting companies but also consolidates Feria de Zaragoza as a benchmark for high-level professionals,” he noted. The organizers have underscored the importance of this aspect, which has received special emphasis for this edition.

ENOMAQ is undoubtedly a unique event, thanks to the convergence of three sectors that share strong commonalities. ENOMAQ 2025 will bring together 61 delegations from the United States, Lebanon, Morocco, Tunisia, Turkey, and South Africa, among other countries, with the aim of fostering international trade relations. In addition to the extensive exhibition offerings, ENOMAQ hosts a robust program of technical sessions and parallel activities, comprising more than 60 presentations and activities delivered by 54 speakers. ENOMAQ is also hosting the seventh edition of the VinEspaña National Wine Competition, organized by the Spanish Federation of Oenology (FEAE), in collaboration with the Government of Aragon, the Zaragoza Trade Fair, and the Aragonese Association of Oenologists (AAE). The competition, one of the most prestigious and renowned wine competitions in Spain, ENOMAQ will be held on February 12th and 13th at the Zaragoza Trade Fair Auditorium, showcasing the work of Spanish winemakers.
This year's event features the Rioja Qualified Designation of Origin as its guest of honor. ENOMAQ will collaborate with Rioja on various activities to highlight the excellence of its products and the significance of its winemaking tradition.
Another prominent location is Cariñena, which will have a significant presence thanks to its recent designation as European City of Wine 2025. This Designation of Origin has a long history of collaboration with the event.
ENOMAQ 2025 will once again celebrate innovation and excellence with its Innovation and Technical Improvement Competition and its Excellence Awards. A total of 18 products have been recognized as Innovations and Improvements, including 7 technological innovations for ENOMAQ-OLEOMAQ-EBEER, 1 technological innovation for TECNOVID-OLEOTEC, 8 technological improvements for ENOMAQ-OLEOMAQ-EBEER, and 2 technological improvements for TECNOVID-OLEOTEC. Regarding the Excellence Awards, 8 products were recognized in each of the six categories. The awards ceremony will take place on February 11th at 5:00 PM at the Zaragoza Trade Fair Congress Center.
