The latest edition of SMAGUA, the international trade fair dedicated to the water sector, concluded with promising results. The event, held in Halls 3, 4, and 9, covered an area of ​​nearly 25,000 square meters, a larger area than the 2019 edition, according to data provided by the organizers.

As for exhibitors, a total of 612 brands participated, with 245 from Spain and 367 from other countries. These figures remained stable compared to the previous edition, demonstrating the continued participation of both national and international companies in SMAGUA. This year, exhibitors came from 28 countries, including Germany, Italy, Brazil, the United States, the United Kingdom, and China, among others.

90% of the exhibitors reported having achieved their objectives at the event. Furthermore, professional contacts exceeded expectations for 55% of participants, demonstrating SMAGUA's value as a platform for networking and business opportunities.

The company's image was also strengthened, as 78% of exhibitors considered the level of professional visitors to be high. This indicates significant interest and recognition from key players in the sector.

Visitor attendance was also noteworthy, with a total of 24,820 professionals attending the trade fair. Of these, 89% were from within the country, and the remaining 11% came from abroad. Visitors came from 52 different countries, demonstrating SMAGUA's global relevance as a meeting point for the water industry. The synergy between SMAGUA and other events, such as SPAPER and EXPOFIMER, was also highlighted, attracting a large number of visitors interested in exploring the opportunities offered by all three events simultaneously.

SMAGUA 2023 has consolidated its position as one of the leading trade fairs in the water sector, bringing together companies, professionals, and experts from around the world. The exhibition space, international participation, and diverse visitor base attest to the interest and importance of this event in the field of water management and sustainable use.
