Discover career opportunities in the water industry
SMAGUA wants to bring young people closer to the water sector, raising awareness of its professions, career paths and stable job opportunities.
SMAGUA, the 28th International Water, Irrigation and Environment Exhibition, is launching New Talent Day, a special initiative for schools and training centres. We want students to discover first-hand the professions, career paths and stable job opportunities offered by the water sector.
Why bring your group to New Talent Day?
Real, hands-on orientation
Students will see water-sector career profiles up close: water networks and treatment plants, industrial mechatronics, electronic maintenance, industrial chemistry, civil, environmental and roads engineering, among others.
Direct contact with companies
During the guided routes through the exhibition, students will be able to talk to participating exhibitors, who explain first-hand the profiles they are looking for.
An experience outside the classroom
A day that combines learning, career guidance and a first hands-on contact with the professional world of water.
Support for your school
Group passes to make organising the visit easier.
Who is New Talent Day for?
4th-year ESO students
At a key moment for academic decisions: upper-secondary school, vocational training, mixed pathways or entering the job market. Goal: sparking career interest.
