The SMAGUA 2027 Innovation and Technological Improvements Competition aims to recognise products or services developed by companies in the water sector that invest in R&D&I. Those that stand out for their innovation or technological advancement, providing solutions tailored to the needs of the sector and the market, will be selected.

Technological Innovations or Improvements Competition

The competition features an independent judging panel, comprising leading professionals from the sector, who will assess, amongst other aspects: practical applicability; benefits relating to work performance; improved reliability; cost-effectiveness; ergonomics and the safety of the workforce; food quality and safety; traceability; business management; as well as improvements to energy efficiency and environmental performance. The awarding by these professionals of the designation ‘Technological Innovation’ or ‘Technological Improvement’ for the product or service is, without a shadow of a doubt, recognition of exemplary work.
