SMAGUA 2023 unveils its new look for this upcoming edition
2022-03-30
Following the success of the last edition of SMAGUA and with less than a year to go before the next one, the event has already set its sights on the 26th International Water and Environment Exhibition, which will take place at Feria de Zaragoza from March 7 to 9, 2023.
At the last edition, despite the pandemic, the objectives were met, and SMAGUA once again maintained its position as a leading event in the sector. The quality of the professional visitors, the technological content of the exhibition, and an extensive program of technical sessions were some of the elements that contributed to the event's success.
One of the new features of the next edition of the international exhibition is the expansion of its offerings to include a vital sector: the environment. This will be achieved through the SMA Environment Exhibition, which will offer solutions in key areas such as waste treatment and management, energy recovery, environmental pollution, and the remediation of contaminated soils.
This new trade fair concept is combined with a fresh, sustainable, and dynamic new design that integrates water and the environment for this upcoming edition, which will once again be the chosen venue for the entire water sector, from March 7th to 9th of next year. For four days, the motto “We Communicate the Culture of Water” will be more relevant than ever with the arrival of the twenty-sixth edition of the show. Once again, the third edition of SPAPER, the International Exhibition of Machinery and Equipment for Pulp, Paper, and Cardboard, will be held concurrently.
SMAGUA has secured the collaboration of the main associations and institutions in the sector, such as the Ebro River Basin Authority, the Aragonese Water Institute, the Government of Aragon, and ICEX, all of which are fundamental to the development of the event, as well as the institutional support of the Directorate General for Water, currently under the Ministry for Ecological Transition. Feria de Zaragoza has taken a significant leap forward in digitalization, benefiting both visitors and exhibitors, who now have a platform to manage all their arrangements and streamline the contracting process. Similarly, a mobile application is available, offering all the event information, interactive maps, and a scheduling system for B2B meetings and interviews with a single click.
SMAGUA is already working to increase the presence of international buyer groups and foreign professionals through its trade missions and international initiatives. The event organizers are already immersed in preparations for the next edition, SMAGUA 2023, where professionals from across the sector will gather at a major event for the water and environmental industry.
