SMAGUA and DAQUAS sign a strategic partnership for SMAGUA 2027
2026-11-03
Feria de Zaragoza and the Spanish Association of Urban Water Management Companies (DAQUAS) have ratified a strategic partnership agreement with the aim of strengthening the institutional and business presence of the urban water sector at the next edition of SMAGUA 2027.
The agreement, signed by the Managing Director of Feria de Zaragoza, Rogelio Cuairán, and the President of DAQUAS, Jesús Maza, builds on the close relationship between the two organisations and establishes a framework for cooperation to develop joint activities during the exhibition.
Thanks to this partnership, DAQUAS will promote the participation of its 105 member companies at SMAGUA 2027, helping to strengthen the urban water sector’s representation at the event. The collaboration between the two organisations will enable closer ties to be forged with one of SMAGUA’s key areas and provide greater visibility for operators and companies working in urban water cycle management.
Forums for debate and knowledge transfer
Beyond the commercial and exhibition areas, the agreement places a strong emphasis on technical dissemination and the analysis of the sector’s major challenges. As part of this collaboration, Feria de Zaragoza will make rooms available to the association for technical conferences and sector meetings organised by DAQUAS. These sessions will address the main trends and challenges facing the management of the integrated urban water cycle in the short and medium term.
With the signing of this agreement, SMAGUA 2027 — which will hold its 28th edition from 16 to 18 February 2027 — reinforces its position as a leading international forum, committed to fostering cohesion amongst all stakeholders involved in water management.
