SMAGUA congratulates Mª Dolores Pascual and Carlos Arrazola on their new roles in water management

SMAGUA congratulates María Dolores Pascual on assuming the position of Director General of Water at the Ministry for Ecological Transition, leaving her previous role at the Ebro River Basin Authority (CHE). Her commitment and dedication have been fundamental to the development and efficient management of water resources in the basin.
SMAGUA also extends its congratulations to Carlos Arrazola, who has been appointed as the new President of the CHE. With a solid track record in the water sector, we are confident that he will successfully lead the way in future challenges and contribute to the sustainable development of river basin management.
We emphasize the importance of recognizing the exceptional work of María Dolores Pascual in her previous role and the trust placed in Carlos Arrazola to lead the CHE. Both professionals are leading figures in the water sector and will play a fundamental role in ensuring the effective and sustainable management of water resources.
Regarding the organization of SMAGUA, the Ebro River Basin Authority (CHE) will continue to chair the organizing committee, with Carlos Arrazola at the helm. This ensures continuity and synergy in the collaborative work between the Ebro River Basin Authority and SMAGUA, whose next edition will take place from March 4th to 6th, 2025. The organizing committee is already developing the strategy for this edition, which promises to be very successful.
