Family Day. Cooperative Product: an experience to share

This year, in Pavilion 7 of FIMA, on February 14 at 1:00 p.m., you will find an event aimed at the general public about the “Cooperative Product” brand, which will also cover agro-food cooperativism in our community and will feature a tasting of products from Aragonese entities that are part of this initiative: Soincar-Grupo Arcoíris, Grandes Vinos, Cooperativa de Magallón, and Cosanse.

COOPERATIVE PRODUCT: AN EXPERIENCE TO SHARE

It will include the following content:

• Agri-food cooperativism in Aragón: dimension and values
An overview of Aragonese agri-food cooperativism, its economic and social impact, and the values that define it: local roots, cooperation, sustainability, and commitment to rural areas.

• Cooperative Product Brand: a common initiative
Presentation of the Cooperative Product brand as a tool to highlight the cooperative model and collective work.

• Local foods: nutrition, health, and territory
Presentation by CITA focused on local Aragonese agri-food products, with special attention to their nutritional values, their contribution to health, and their connection to the territory.

• Tasting of cooperative products: authentic taste of the countryside
A guided tasting of products from the four Aragonese cooperatives currently part of the Producto Cooperativo brand will take place.
The activity will be conducted in a sequential and dynamic manner. First, a representative from each cooperative will give a brief introduction to present their organization. Then, the product from that cooperative will be tasted, accompanied by a technical and nutritional explanation. This format will be repeated for each participant until the tour of all four entities is completed: Soincar-Grupo Arcoíris, Grandes Vinos, Cooperativa de Magallón, and Cosanse.
