Paper industry support for SPAPER 2019
2018-12-15
With four months to go, the first International Exhibition of Machinery and Equipment for Pulp, Paper, and Cardboard – SPAPER 2019 – already boasts over thirty participating brands and a large number of companies interested in the event; some of them internationally renowned, such as Ferpal, Porteca, Metso, Voith, and Andritz, among others.
From February 5 to 7, 2019, the paper industry will take center stage at the Zaragoza Trade Fair Centre with SPAPER 2019.
In addition to the support of the participating brands, SPAPER has the backing of the Paper Cluster and the ASPAPEL Association, two of the leading professional organizations in the paper production sector.
In addition to providing professionals with a large exhibition area showcasing the latest technologies and machinery for papermaking, the organizers of the event are designing a program of parallel activities—meetings, roundtables, colloquiums, assemblies, and more—to foster discussion and understanding of the current state of the industry, its challenges, and future prospects. To this end, the organizers are working with participating companies to propose and ensure that topics of greatest interest to paper industry manufacturers are prominently featured at SPAPER. The event team aims to offer valuable content to these professionals.
Feria de Zaragoza demonstrates its commitment to disseminating knowledge among current and future professionals by hosting activities and training sessions from leading universities specializing in the education of professionals in the chemical and paper industries.
SPAPER will also recognize the innovation, excellence, and practicality of the equipment and products exhibited by participating brands during the show – from February 5th to 7th of next year.
Running parallel to the first International Exhibition of Machinery and Equipment for Pulp, Paper, and Cardboard, SMAGUA 2019, the largest event focused on the water market in Southern Europe, will take place.
The organizers of both events aim to leverage the existing synergies between the two industries and foster the development of a prominent space in this professional field.
The city of Zaragoza is geographically located at the epicenter of the paper industry in Spain, and with the launch of SPAPER, Feria de Zaragoza is working to achieve greater recognition and improved business for this industry, in which Spain ranks as the sixth largest producer in Europe.
