The 20th edition of the International Public Works, Construction and Mining Machinery Exhibition (SMOPYC), to be held at Feria Zaragoza from April 15 to 18, 2026, is registering significant commercial growth and confirming an increase in its exhibition capacity compared to the last edition.

More space, a new pavilion, and enhanced outdoor area

To date, SMOPYC 2026 will cover 107,383 gross square meters, representing a 26.66% increase compared to the previous edition. This increase in space will allow companies to showcase a wider range of equipment and solutions, as well as improve the experience for professional visitors.

The event will feature one more pavilion than in 2023 thanks to the opening of Pavilion 5, which will be primarily dedicated to companies specializing in earthmoving, aggregates, and concrete. In addition, SMOPYC is reopening and expanding its outdoor area, a strategic space designed for exhibiting large-format machinery, where the public can see the equipment in operation live.

On the commercial side, SMOPYC 2026 already boasts 1,103 exhibitors from 32 countries, a figure that reinforces SMOPYC's role as the leading meeting point for the sector in Southern Europe. With this commercial boost, the expanded exhibition space, the reopening of the outdoor area, and the addition of Hall 5, SMOPYC 2026 is preparing to celebrate a particularly important 20th edition for the public works, construction, and mining machinery industry.

SMOPYC will continue to focus on innovation, technology, and sustainability, reinforcing its role as a meeting point for presenting new products, closing deals, and analyzing the sector's major challenges. Its offerings are structured around different areas: earthmoving and components; aggregates and concrete; lifting; drilling; and industrial vehicles. auxiliary equipment and outdoor demonstration areas. New this year is the Innovation Pavilion, a space dedicated to showcasing the most advanced solutions on the market.
